Thanks, Steve
When Steve Jobs stepped down as Apple CEO back in August, I wrote a short post on what a visionary he was.
Steve lost his fight against cancer yesterday, leaving behind two things; a Steve Jobs shaped hole in society that can’t and won’t be filled, and a legacy that will echo for centuries to come.
The Internet is full of eulogies and obituaries, and I’m not going to add to that noise, but I see it fitting to point out that Steve became exactly what he wanted to become. He believed he could change the world, and he did. Let this moment of mourning turn in to an encouragement to chase our dreams with persevering determination to change the world.
Thanks, Steve, for making innovative steps forward, for making us love to love technology, and most of all, for making us smile.
“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” ~ Steve Jobs, 1955 - 2011
